Gene Autry and Your Next Trip? Watch here and share with other women
We recently received a call from a the woman said: I have not traveled since my husband died and I think it is time to GET BACK IN THE SADDLE AGAIN. Her reference to the vintage Gene Autry song had us hunting on utube, to hear him sing. We realized that her reference meant something only to women of a certain age. Autry appeared in 93 films, and between 1950 and 1956 hosted The Gene Autry Show television series. We, of that age, remember him from his Christmas songs and his straight shooting brave and honest roles.…

Avoid Travel Panic with www.womenstravelgroup.com Travel List
Getting ready for a solo trip includes being organized and being smart. Traveling in a group like The Women’s Travel Group is easier as you have others to help if you need it. Traveling alone is more edgy since you must be self sufficient. It will be more comfortable if you are going to an English speaking area like Ireland.
When you travel alone, you are your own defense, your only money holder, and your only companion. This means that if you leave anything behind because you are tired or nervous, you have no back up.…

Countries will also turn to expert public relations companies to get their names on this or other lists of Top 50.…

Events to Avoid Overseas
This is from a Huffington Post Article by Phyllis Stoller, President of The Women’s Travel Group. When you plan your next trip, you will likely consider weather and hopefully check into seasonal costs of flights/hotels etc. Travelers today are traveling during what are called ‘shoulder’ seasons which relate to good, not perfect weather, which avoid peak season crowds and can offer lower airfares. However, many travelers do not check other factors that might make a trip excessively expensive or full of unpleasant surprises.
