Single Supplement: 6 reasons it bothers women more than men

Why is it that men do not complain as much as we do about paying more?
1-First and foremost, we earn less!
2-Women nest more in their room, meaning the actual ambiance is more important to us.
3-We like our ‘toilette’ time, time to clean up and look fresh so the amenities talk to us.… -

Unpacking from Argentina; Ready for India
What a let down to be home from our 12 day Argentina tour. A great group of women joined me starting in Parisian like Buenos Aires then the high Andes and Iguazu Falls. Wine Wine Wine…..and none of it Whine.
Efficient unpacking:
1- dump the laundry
2- put all paperwork, receipts, etc in a ziplock bag.
3-replace unused travel pills back in another zip lock with a code so you know which is which pill.
4-lock up your passport
5-check your online credit card accounts to ensure all is safe and sound.… -
Murder on a Women's Tour
Here are ‘reasonable reasons’ for combat: and we hope you agree with them. If not let us know by posting here.
Whining: Solve any issue immediately even if it seems insgnificant. You will be surprised at how flexible The Women’s Travel Group can be. However everyone gets one day to whine…. maybe just a little. After jet lag, for instance on our India trip, everyone will be tired, go with it.
Regretting: If you wanted to buy something or think you overpaid for it, move on.… -
Snooze: how to get through the long flight to Argentina!
The Women’s Travel Group goes to Argentina today.
Hour 1 Read heavy-duty stuff you have been avoiding then throw out the magazines. My heavy-duty is The New York Review of Books.
Hour 2 Bring junk literature you love but are ashamed to buy. Like the female version of drinking from a brown paper bag. Movie Star gossip is the best here.
Hour 3 Eat as slowly as possible, finishing with your airplane treat. If you plan to drink alcohol, add in lots of water also. … -
Five Dumb Things Women Take on Vacation
Too many shoes! Only take one pair that never ever hurt no matter how much you walk or how swollen your feet get. And one light pair for dinner wear.
Big bottles of shampoo and/or conditioner. Hair will recover in 2 shampoos when you get home. Take small bottles of conditioner but label them so you don’t slather your face with a hair product because you forgot what you packed
Books: yikes are we not over this yet? Book worms learn to use electronic devices for the sake of weight.…

Some are women coming solo and they want to make an impression- who even notices? Others feel that shopping pre-trip is part of the fantasy of travel. Shopping starts the actual trip experience as we dream and anticipate. Heh, Ladies!!!!
Here is what we should really be doing!
— Getting rest and ready for jet lag.…

Travel Agents Rarely Sell Women's Tours: Why?
It is perplexing that so few travel agents cater to the executive women’s leisure market. Here is what we think about this enigma.
There are few tours available, that fit agents’ need for licensed and professionally organized trips. Scan the net and how many women’s tour companies are IATAN licensed? Are part of industry recognized travel leaders? Or even offer agent commissions?
Women like myself, and you who read this blog, may call your agent for a solo trip, but will likely be told that they do not have answers for you. …
