We added a New York trip timed it October 12-16 with peak leaf color and the best weather. During our week, the artist Ai Wei Wei has fences like this one built all over the city:
Our welcome dinner is at Phyllis Stoller’s home in a traditional 1920’s apartment building. Bring your special interests so we can assist your hunt. Love to shop? Ask us where to go for best bargains or elegant treats.
Need a room mate? Just ask and it is done.
We stay at a fine boutique hotel off Fifth Avenue and across from charming Bryant Park.
This is not the touristy/kitchy/Times Square mess of a trip. This is the real New York with its new new new areas:
Flatiron District, Greenwich Village, SoHo, Financial District, Meatpacking District and the High Line.
We include the stunning Whitney Museum, MOMA, but also our Robber Baron buildings: Grand Central, The Waldorf Astoria, Chrysler Building, and St. Patricks Cathedral. Of course we have a tour of the Met, one of the 5 greatest museums in the world. As a special event Phyllis is treating those who wish to join, to the new Women’s History Wing of the New York Historical Society. You will be so proud when you learn more about our accomplishments in history!
Meals are at good restaurants, by good we mean those that NY insiders patronize.
A Broadway ticket is included.
This trip is more than half full. Please let us know if you plan on joining.
