Things I purged from my carry on to make it lighter. The Women’s Travel Group ideas for easier travel.
Sneakers: wear them to save interior space. Throw in a cheap pair of ‘ballet flats’. with decent soles My go-to ballet flats are allbirds.com.
Extra bra and underpants. In 3-5 minutes anyone can wash underwear. Save the space for socks and tuck them into edge spaces.

Use contents for a week. Is there any left? Or not enough? Now you know how much you need. Lotions weigh; don’t over pack. Using hotel shampoo for a few nights will not permanently destroy hair. Bringing some of your own conditioner will help.

Definitely take more 2-3 adaptors. Adaptors can flicker and die. A charger cord shreds with age which is dangerous. Adaptors of the large square grounded type are heavier and easy to forget in the hotel outlet. So mix it up: some smaller and some the square type. The smaller will not be grounded; be careful during storms or in old hotels.
