Shakespeare & Your Trip to Dubai
Many of you asked: Will Americans of Jewish Faith regret going to The Emirates and Oman? Here is the answer from Shakespeare:
Misery acquaints a man with strange bedfellows. The Tempest Act 2 Scene 2
Israel, Oman and The Emirates are close because of their mutual misery: Iran. The UAE has already built a synagogue and is planning another as part of an interfaith compound. On our last trip to the area, we saw many Israelis, both tourists and business people.…

The Good and Bad of Italian Street Food
Pizza, arancini, pastries, gelato, and its slushy cousin granita..… this is Sicilian street food you will find on our Sicily Malta Trip.
In Sicily (March 2019 trip), pizza has a thicker crust, focaccia-like. In some areas, pizza has a top crust also-who doesn’t love double carbs? The good news is if you cannot eat cheese, Sicilians also make pizza without it. The bad news is in some areas it is fried and you will absolutely have to try it!…

Senior Women:the Outcasts of Travel Media
Face it Ladies, we are outcasts.
If you read travel press, you learn about soft cashmere travel blankets, fiddly electronic travel apps, and experiences to ‘find yourself’. There are daring itineraries for daredevil women, who wear Italian travel pants, and shoes our foot doctors would never recommend.
Why does the media ignore the real senior woman traveler?

Winter Sun Without Sunburn
Winter Sun Without Getting Burned
Many of us avoid beach holidays but by March, we yearn for sun and warmth. March is the horrible month for women in the North and Mid Atlantic; so we always arrange a few March warm getaways. Here is why you should take our Sicily and Malta Trip: it is linked here.…

At the hotel, again do simple stretches and walk around the hotel area to wake yourself up.…

Be aware of older women you meet while traveling
In fact be aware of anyone you meet while traveling.
I just attended a women’s networking lunch and heard this story. A woman at the lunch recently traveled to Manila alone. She met up with 3 friendly older women, who invited her to join them to a street market. All sounds like fun, huh? Well at lunch they drugged her food, stole her ATM card with pin. Fortunately they took her back to her hotel where she was out for 14 hours.…

Spills and Spots on Your Travel Wardrobe. What to leave home.
Spills and Spots
Most women prefer their own personal products even when they travel. Allergies? Perfumes we are used to? Most women also experience spills of liquids and or spots when we pack poorly.
A few items to leave home suggested by The Women’s Travel Group:
Lip gloss: when the plane ascends, air inside the gloss tube changes. When you open the gloss, it oozes out surprisingly fast.…
